Insparisk announces Versentia software for the safety inspection industry

First Application, Versentia for Boiler Inspection, Used Widely in New York City

Glendale, New York, January 14, 2008 -- Insparisk today announced Versentia for safety inspection, a suite of software solutions for the safety inspection industry including boilers, elevators, fire detection/suppression systems, building facades, HVAC equipment, and electrical panels.

The first application, Versentia for boiler inspection, manages inspections and client data in the boiler industry and combines customized routing and inspection functionality. Through a powerful backend database, it synchronizes with Versentia Mobile? on Tablet PCs to support inspectors in the field.

Using its Versentia software, Insparisk has performed nearly 270,000 boiler inspections in New York City to date on behalf of building owners, property managers, governmental agencies, property & casualty insurance carriers and others.

“We see a huge opportunity in automating safety inspection in a variety of markets, many of which still function with pen and paper. The increased accuracy and efficiency enabled by Versentia greatly benefits jurisdictions, P&C insurance carriers, real estate management, risk managers and others,” said Stephen Kleva, President and CEO of Insparisk.

“The Versentia solution is proven here in NYC, and more than 100,000 inspections have been filed electronically at the NYC Department of Buildings since 1995,” continued Kleva.

“We have used Insparisk’s boiler inspection services since 2005 in NYC. The company inspects about 4,800 boilers annually. Insparisk services are consistently high quality and reliable, as well as very cost-effective,” commented Vincent Scarcella, regional director at CNA.

Versentia for boiler inspection increases the efficiency and accuracy of the boiler inspection process and enables inspections to be filed electronically, as well as tracked and catalogued with digital photographs. All inspection information is easily accessible for customers online via the Internet.

The comprehensive functionality of Versentia enables inspectors to schedule inspection routes and upload and download job details including routes, contact information, boiler records, prior inspection results, inspection data, and digital images. It also initiates billing and inspection notification, manages e-filings of BO-9 reports, and checks NYC Department of Buildings processing dates to guarantee compliance.

Insparisk’s secure web site enables both inspectors and their clients to easily access safety information 24/7 including information related to accounts and job status: inspection reports, filing dates, and building location and contact information. It also enables fee payments online.

Insparisk was formed as a parent company of City Spec, Inc. in 2007. City Spec was founded in 1992 to perform inspections on low-pressure boilers within the city of New York. Versentia is a suite of software solutions that manages safety inspection for boilers, elevators, fire detection/suppression systems, building facades, HVAC equipment, and electrical panels. It is marketed to building owners, property managers, governmental agencies, P&C insurance carriers, oil and gas marketers, plumbing professionals, HVAC contractors, and others. The software development arm of Insparisk is Turn Type Technologies. Stephen Kleva has led the company as President and CEO since 2005. For more information on Insparisk, visit www.cityspec.com.
